1. Agreement to Terms

Velvetail is a brand operated by Metin Ventures LLC, a limited liability company formed under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of velvetail.co (the "Site") and any purchase you make from Velvetail ("we," "us," "our"). By visiting the Site or placing an order, you enter into an agreement with Metin Ventures LLC and you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

We may update these Terms at any time. The version posted on this page at the time of your order is the version that applies to that order. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order. By ordering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method you submit.

3. Our products are made to order

Every Velvetail item is printed individually after you order. We do not hold finished inventory. This means:

  • Production begins shortly after your order is placed.
  • Once production has begun, an order cannot be changed or cancelled.
  • Requests to change or cancel must reach us within 24 hours of ordering, at support@velvetail.co. We will accommodate them when production has not yet started, but we cannot guarantee it.

4. Product appearance and natural variation

Our garments are garment-dyed, heavyweight cotton. The following are characteristics of the product, not defects:

  • Garment-dyed fabric varies slightly in shade between production batches. Two items in the same colorway may not be an exact match.
  • Screen and monitor calibration affects how colors appear online. Product photography and mockups are representative, not exact.
  • Print placement may vary by up to approximately half an inch, which is normal for direct-to-garment printing.
  • Garments may shrink slightly on first wash. Please follow the care instructions provided.

Variation within these ranges is not grounds for a replacement or refund. If you receive an item that is genuinely damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, our Refund Policy applies.

5. Sizing

Sizing information is published on each product page. Because our items are made to order, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for sizing. Please review the size chart before ordering. If you are unsure, email support@velvetail.co before you place your order and we will help you choose.

6. Pricing and availability

All prices are listed in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes, which are shown at checkout.

We may change prices, modify products, or discontinue designs at any time without notice. We reserve the right to limit order quantities and to refuse or cancel any order, including orders we believe to be fraudulent, placed by resellers, or resulting from a pricing or description error. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund you in full.

7. Orders and payment

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. Your order is accepted when we send an order confirmation. Payment is taken at checkout through our payment providers; we do not store your full payment card details.

You are responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address. We are not responsible for orders delivered to an address entered incorrectly at checkout. Notify us within 24 hours at support@velvetail.co if you spot a mistake.

8. Shipping, returns and privacy

The following policies are incorporated into these Terms by reference and apply to every order:

9. Intellectual property

All designs, artwork, illustrations, text, photographs, logos and other content on the Site are owned by Metin Ventures LLC or used under license, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.

Purchasing a product grants you ownership of that physical item only. It does not transfer any rights in the design. You may not reproduce, copy, resell, redistribute, or create derivative works from our designs, or use them for any commercial purpose, without our prior written permission.

Breed names, descriptive phrases and other generic terms are used descriptively and do not imply affiliation with, or endorsement by, any third party.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site to:

  • violate any law or regulation;
  • infringe the intellectual property rights of anyone;
  • transmit malicious code, or attempt to probe, scan or breach the security of the Site;
  • scrape, harvest or systematically collect data from the Site;
  • submit false, misleading or fraudulent information;
  • harass, abuse or threaten any person.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site for any breach of this section.

11. Third-party links and services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and relies on third-party services for payment processing, fulfillment, shipping and analytics. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of third parties. Your dealings with them are solely between you and them.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and all products are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defect will be corrected.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Metin Ventures LLC, its members, officers, employees, contractors and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Site or any product purchased from us.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Metin Ventures LLC and its members, officers, employees and contractors from any claim, demand, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.

16. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the policies referenced in Section 8, constitute the entire agreement between you and Metin Ventures LLC regarding the Site and supersede any prior agreements. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision.
