Our 30-Day Guarantee
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, we will make it right — free replacement or full refund, and you won't need to ship anything back to us.
What's covered
- Items that arrive damaged or with a printing defect
- Wrong item, wrong size, or wrong color sent to you in error
- Packages confirmed lost in transit
How to make a claim
Email support@velvetail.co within 30 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- A clear photo showing the issue
That's it. There is no form to fill in and no return label to print. We review claims within one business day.
Once approved, you choose: we print and ship a free replacement, or we issue a full refund to your original payment method. Keep the original item either way — please don't throw it out; pass it on to a friend or a local animal shelter.
What isn't covered
Because every Velvetail item is printed on demand specifically for you, we do not hold restock inventory. Returned items cannot be resold. This is what allows us to keep prices fair and shipping free on every order — and it means we are unable to accept returns for:
- Ordering the wrong size. Full measurements are published on every product page.
- Change of mind or buyer's remorse.
- Natural variation in garment-dyed fabric. Our Comfort Colors garments are garment-dyed, so shade varies slightly between production batches. Print placement may vary by up to about half an inch. Screens also display color differently. This is a characteristic of the product, not a defect.
Ordered the wrong size?
We can't take the item back, but we don't want to leave you stuck. Email support@velvetail.co and we'll send you a one-time 20% discount code toward a replacement in the correct size.

Changes and cancellations
Production starts quickly. If you need to change or cancel an order, email support@velvetail.co within 24 hours of ordering. We will accommodate the request whenever production has not yet begun, but once an item has entered production it cannot be changed or cancelled.
How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are sent to your original payment method within 3–5 business days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it can take up to a further 10 business days for the funds to appear on your statement.
Because shipping is free on every order, there are no shipping charges to refund.
